DVIRE aims to start using biomethane, hydrogen and electricity from solar, wind and recycled waste on Lithuanian roads, in addition to methane, and thus significantly reduce CO2 emissions.
The fuel card is issued to the companies which have purchased methane gas-powered engine vehicles from manufacturers participating in the DVIRE initiative that promotes the use of alternative fuels in Lithuania.
The DVIRE Card provides the opportunity to use the network of public SGD filling stations of the partners of the DVIRE initiative in the largest cities of Lithuania – Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai and Panevėžys.
The DVIRE Card is issued and administered by the startup, UAB Dvire, coordinator of the DVIRE initiative.
The DVIRE Card can be used to pay for fuel at all SG Dujos self-service terminals and Panevėžys Bus Fleet methane filling station (since the beginning of 2021).
The card limit and other terms and conditions for the card recharge shall be mutually agreed between UAB Dvire and the card holder.
Detailed instructions for using the card and refuelling with methane gas are published at each self-service filling station.
